SPEAKER_02

Spring is the season of emergence. Summer is expansion and then fall is shedding. Winter is rest and reflection. I like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome to Hot Girl Psychology. We're a Girls Girl podcast where attractiveness and attachment wounds come together.

SPEAKER_02

Here at Hot Girl Psychology, we help you become the highest and hottest version of yourself.

SPEAKER_01

My name is Emily. I'm a startup founder and CEO, and I put the psycho and psychonutritionist.

SPEAKER_02

And I'm Deanna. I'm a clinical psychotherapist and published dark romance author. I treat complex trauma by day and I live it by night. What's up, girlies?

SPEAKER_00

Hey.

SPEAKER_01

So today is Hot Girl Fall. Hot Girl Fall. So exciting. I am excited. I am such a slut for fall.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, same. Total hoe for fall.

SPEAKER_01

Autumn. Autumn is my favorite word on earth.

SPEAKER_02

I know. We talked about this that we're gonna be classy and call it autumn, but it's also fall. It depends on your mood.

SPEAKER_01

It does. It does.

SPEAKER_02

Sometimes you wake up feeling trashy. Sometimes you wake up feeling like you're straight out of Bridgerton.

SPEAKER_01

So that's like very Jersey of you to say.

SPEAKER_02

It is very jersey of me to say. I mean, I will always, no matter what I do, I will always be trash because I'm from New Jersey and it's okay with me.

SPEAKER_01

That's okay. I'm I will always be trash too because I am from the juggalo region. And that is the what region? The juggalo region. Are you familiar with that? No. Oh, do you know what insane clown posse is?

unknown

No. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

Viewers, watch out for the insane clown posse.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, it's coming for you. Oh gosh. Happy Halloween. Happy Halloween. Oh yeah, I feel like Halloween is the Juggalos favorite. Now I do have to tell you. Okay, so they're basically like people who um drink purple Fanta and like listen to like the kind of music that you like, I don't know, repeatedly run into the same wall over and over and over again. Yes. Listening to like it's not horrible music, to be completely honest, but it's definitely not amazing music. Um and yeah, there's still so much more that I okay. So it's just a different type of trash. Yeah, it's Ohio trash. It's Ohio and Michigan, and like the the like, I don't even know what that region is called. I call it the juggalo region. Okay. I don't know what else to call it.

SPEAKER_02

That makes sense. You guys should you guys should have your own show because we have our own show. I'm from the Jersey Shore and we have our own show, and it's gent laundry trash, and you guys should have your own show trash so that everybody else can witness those.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. We need to pitch this to somebody. Yeah. Yeah, a juggalo show. Like you're listening. Literally. Okay. Back on the topic of fall, though, instead of hot girl fall. Hot girl fall. So we are in hot girl fall, hot girl autumn. What does fall mean to you?

SPEAKER_02

I feel like hot girl fall is kind of like hot girl summer.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

But make it witchy.

SPEAKER_01

But make it witchy.

SPEAKER_02

And make it more goal-oriented.

SPEAKER_01

Goal-oriented.

SPEAKER_02

Whereas summer, I do think is kind of a time of rest or travel or party or whatever it is. I think that hot girl fall is the perfect time to set goals, set intentions manifesting. And I do think that fall is the best time of the entire year to become your highest and hottest self.

SPEAKER_01

What is it about fall that makes you feel like it's the best time to become your highest and hottest self?

SPEAKER_02

Good question. In most types of spiritual practices, I'm thinking mainly about witchcraft. But honestly, it's like any type of spiritual practices. A lot of times they do believe that fall is one, the season of shedding.

SPEAKER_01

Of shedding.

SPEAKER_02

Which is important. And so like, you know how spring is the season of emergence. You know, it's like the season of blooming. Summer is kind of like known as like expansion.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's why a lot of times I feel like it can be just like, you know, like you've done all your stuff, celebrate.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You know, in the summer, and then fall is shedding, shedding, and then kind of like transition any any type of transition, any type of reframe. And then winter is rest and reflection. I like that. Yeah. Also in witchcraft in the fall, the veil is known to be thinner in autumn.

SPEAKER_01

What's the veil?

SPEAKER_02

The veil is an energetic boundary between our physical world and the spiritual world.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's the feel.

SPEAKER_02

I love it. Yeah. And so it is known to be thinner in the fall, specifically October. We're going to move into the darkest part of the year. And it thins. It's like called the liminal season. Animals hibernate.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Plants retreat. The world is just very quiet. And so it's the time for the world to turn inward.

SPEAKER_01

It looks like it like commands stillness.

SPEAKER_02

It does. And presence. Yes. It commands stillness and presence. And so before that time comes, we are in transition.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

And so it's the transition that makes the veil thinner. And it makes it so that we have more access to the spiritual world than we usually do. And so that's why it's such a good time for anything spiritual. So manifestation, prayer, intuition, shadow work, releasing.

unknown

I love that.

SPEAKER_02

Spiritual communication and just like transformation of any kind.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. So this is probably the season that we should go get our tarot reading together.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I feel like that is exactly what we will do then. I've um never had a tarot reading done before.

SPEAKER_02

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I haven't done it for you.

SPEAKER_01

No. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Some of the tarot cards I know, but a lot of them I have to look up. And I'm kind of big on I do it from a mental health perspective. So it's, you know how Freud used to hold up the like blob paintings and Rorschach paintings. Yeah, and say, like, what do you see? That is kind of how I treat tarot. I'm kind of like, what do you see? Yeah. And a lot of times I'm like, you will see what you already knew and you think you need somebody else to tell you.

SPEAKER_01

I do remember, I meant I remember you mentioning this to me about it when we talked about it in the past.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. So I do it from more of a mental health perspective. Yeah. But there are people that I genuinely believe like do see and feel things very intuitively, maybe psychically. And so we should definitely go to one of those and then definitely do it. Do we want to go and like do it separately and then do a podcast episode where we talk about it and like compare?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. That would be really fun, actually. Amazing.

SPEAKER_01

That would be amazing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's it. Anyway, what does Hot Girl Fall mean to you? What do you think it is?

SPEAKER_01

I love fall because it is the time where you get to wear the coziest clothing, like the biggest sweaters and you know, your favorite boots, and like you just kind of feel like very encompassed and very cocooned by your giant jacket. And I love that shit. I love I love fall fashion so much. Um I feel like the ability to just be your more dormant self and just kind of your more still self with the more subdued like experiences that you have during fall is something that helps me just kind of reset through the winter.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Hot girl fall, it seems, is a time of transformation and death and rebirth and like just kind of like settling the ground and setting the foundation and laying the seeds so that things can take root. Um, you know, it's it's before things spring up, of course. So what do you feel like you want to see let go in the next few months?

SPEAKER_02

I have actually noticed recently that a lot of old stories are coming up for me, like old internalized beliefs that I no longer believe that I have disproven.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They have been coming up for me, and I specifically have noticed them in brain spotting.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That it's almost like there's a part or almost a voice that is telling me something, and like it'll try to come in and ruin things and just be like it it's so it it might say something like, Well, everybody just hates you, or you'll you'll always be unlovable, or you know, like no one has ever liked you, or whatever they are, our internalized beliefs are the worst things that we've ever thought about ourselves. And those are not mine, mine are actually worse, but I'm not even gonna say them on air because they're they're very dark. But those will come up and it's like a voice talking to me, and then I'm just like, wait, but that's old. I don't actually believe that. I believed that when I was a teenager, and that's not actually it was never true, but I don't believe it anymore. But that'll sometimes keep happening, like where you'll be like just stuck in the same story that you used to be in that was holding you, you know, hostage when you were young. And sometimes that'll just like rear its ugly head and try to sabotage you. And it's just like, well, you know, we actually don't have healthy relationships. So, and you know, and it's like, no, that's not true. We do have healthy relationships. I have, you know, like I have muted you, I've killed you. Why are you still here and burdening me? So that's something that I want to let go of. And I think that now that I've realized it, I've been mindful of when they've come up, but I wonder how much it has impacted me without knowing it before that like these are just old stories and old beliefs that don't actually fit with me and who I know who I am to be today. So yeah, I want to let go of those things and I might do something where I like I write them down and then like you can write them down or burn them. Um I had I was talking to somebody recently that talked about like writing things down like on a rock and throwing it into a lake. And I like that too. So I might do that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's really fun.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. But some sort of like ritualistic spiritual practice to feel like it's gone, you know, like some sort of physical embodiment that I can give to it, I feel like will be helpful.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. I love that. That's amazing. So this desire to just like shut out the old storylines that you've experienced before and like wanting to shed that and leave it behind and take a rock and throw it into the water and say goodbye to it.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. Yeah. So what about you? What are you trying to shed? What do you want to let go of this fall?

SPEAKER_01

I I feel like I'm really trying to let go of having too many expectations and trying to hold on to too much control, and instead just learning to like relax into the moment and be more present and let things be what they are. Um and that sounds really vague, but it's just kind of like my general posture around life. I'm like loosening control. I see. Do you have an example maybe? Just in terms of like how even just like with this podcast, like I've never had a podcast before. Now I have a whole season of one. And like I feel like there's less need to like hide parts of myself or to disconnect from it more. Um, and to I I feel like maybe more coherence. Yeah. Um, and maybe maybe what I'm doing in like the shedding of you know, control over things and just like making it so that I can be more genuine and more authentic and that kind of thing. Yeah. That's just me becoming more coherent at the same time.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. That makes a lot of sense. Yeah. And I do think that a lot of us want to, we believe that we can control the perception that other people have of us. And a lot of times we do that by just like not being authentic and not being ourselves. And it's not actually possible to control that. It's an illusion.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And so, yeah, like disillusioning yourself and then giving up that idea and just being yourself and seeing what the fuck happens. Yeah, fuck around and find out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, fuck around and find out. Always gonna fuck around and find out. Um, I always get to a point. My ADHD forces me to a point where I'm like, okay, I'm just I'm done. I'm done. I'm gonna fuck around and find out, see what's up. Yes, I'm just well, that's good. That's a a good, good part of ADHD. It is like the best part of ADHD, to be completely honest. Um, I've like, I've learned how to alchemize that. That's that's probably one that I learned to alchemize during a fall, honestly. Just to like turn it into something where, you know, it it pushes me in the right circumstances, but my impulses are controlled in situations that don't um that don't require it. I I really have been like focusing a lot on like learning not so much like discipline, but like mastery of like me and my impulses and myself and you know, just trying to grow in that way. And I feel like the more I'm willing to just relax and be present, the more growth I have access to in general.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Love that. Yeah, love that. Yeah, that brings me to I want to talk about just how our girlies can have a hot girl fall and what our tips and tricks are for them and our advice. I want to start with alchemizing because I feel like that is a big thing for you. Can you tell us a little bit about how you're alchemizing this hot girl fall and how our girlies can do that as well?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes. So, I mean, one of the things about fall is that like you can't hold on to the green leaves the whole entire year. They're going to put on a beautiful show for you as they die, but they were going to die no less. And they shed. Yeah. Exactly. And, you know, we when we let go of control like that, then what ends up happening is spring will come and it will bloom the most beautiful flowers when you're willing to just let fall die and then rebirth, right? Um, and so one of the ways that you can give up control that you can alchemize, one of the ways that I'm alchemizing is like learning more patience and learning the spring will always come again, and learning that you know, fall will always come again, spring will always come again, like that kind of thing. So having more of an inner presence with yourself helps so much with alchemizing. Yeah. And being more here right now.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. Yeah. I I love that. And I love the idea of just being present, exactly, you know, and being where you are. This is a kind of hard question to answer, but are there any tips that you can give to our girlies of how to do that?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, of course. Um, so I feel like being willing to let yourself learn how to get like uncomfortable, let yourself become comfortable with discomfort. So be willing. One of my favorite things actually is like cleaning out my closet. Um, because what you decide to hold on to and what you decide to throw away, or donate really is what you should do instead of throw away. But it feels ritualistically like throwing it away. Yes. Um but what you decide to keep for yourself and what you decide to donate, it really tells you like where you are and what you're still holding on to. And I find it often happens, especially like with other um with my clients when they're dealing with like their body image, like there's kind of like this when when they have um clothes that they used to fit into but don't anymore, they tend to like struggle to let go of those, even though there is no certainty that it will ever come back. Right. Um, and I feel like a willingness to approach saying I don't need to hold on to uncertainty. I can or I don't need to hold on to a need for certainty. I can give up like this pair of pants, or I can give up this, you know, shirt that I know like I haven't seen on my body in a while. And I don't think it's going to keep me happy to keep this in my space. Yeah. Um, so I love a good closet clean out because it really does help you shed like past identities, past versions of yourself, um, body image issues, like things that require you to have so much control. And it's a great way to let go of control, to let go of old identities, to let go of old versions.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And this is just such a tangible way to work on your self-concept is by cleaning out your closet and then going into kind of like a style renaissance. Like give yourself a makeover. Yes. You know, find find a new style that feels like it fits the new version of you that you want to be, which is it's not that you want to be somebody else. It's okay to step into different versions of you throughout the seasons.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

You're still you, you're still authentic. And fall is such a good time for that. And the fact that the weather changes in most places, it also kind of forces you into that anyway, which is so cool. But I love a makeover, I love a rebrand, and that fall is such a good time for that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

What do you feel like you are gonna do to alchemize this season? So I'm doing a lot of very intense trauma work right now. So shadow work essentially, yeah, which is I always recommend doing during the fall because again, the veil is thinner. So connecting to spirituality also can mean connecting to your higher self. It doesn't necessarily need to mean connecting to a higher power if that's not your thing. But I think that shadow work is so good, inner child work, IFS parts work, and like, you know, working with all of your parts, realizing that there's no bad parts. I'm doing a lot of that. I'm doing brain spotting specifically.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And so it, and it's like not pretty. It is very intense trauma work. And then I have to go and, you know, kind of pretend to be normal and still do my job and still compartmentalize. And so it is hard, but it feels like a really, really good time to do it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then I feel like winter is going to be the time that I rest and reflect on the all of the shadow work, but it's such a good time for any type of like dream exploration. It's just a really good time to do the work mentally. So, like exploring like your patterns, your parts, your thoughts, beliefs, like stories that you think are bad, stories that you think are scary, and going back into them and actually processing them, I feel like is a really, really good thing to do this time of year. And so that's definitely something that I'm doing. Even though I'm busy and it's hard to be doing it right now, I was just like, I have to do this this fall. I don't know why. It just felt like something that I had to do.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, also something that I've been doing that I love is early morning nervous system regulation. It's never a bad time to regulate your nervous system, but I really like to kind of have like a ritual in the morning that I do. Fall is such a good time for rituals. That's you know why witches do their best practicing in the fall and why it's such a spiritual time. But I if I can, the first thing that I do every morning is I go outside and get sun and just like feel the sun on my face. And I go outside with my cat and he also feels the sun on his face in both of us. They're just, you know, like hot growling in the sun. Literally, two cats, two cats, exactly. And then I'll meditate. Sometimes I'll do a guided meditation, and even if you just do it for like five minutes, it's still something. And you can do it for just like having the best day ever, and like, and it's just it's just great. And so I'll either do that and then other times I'll do it by myself. It it'll it's more of a mindfulness exercise. But if you've ever heard of five, four, three, two, one, I know you have, but and our listeners, it's a mindfulness exercise that can be used for anxiety or panic attacks, but I like to use it for meditation.

SPEAKER_01

I literally just had taught somebody that for their meditation today. I was like, this could potentially be helpful if you can't feel anything in your body.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes. Yeah, absolutely. It's super somatic. For those of you who don't know, 54321. I'll do this in nature, but so it is five things that you can see. So you name the five things, and usually I'll make somebody explain it as well. And if so, for example, if somebody's having a panic attack, I'll I'd be like the the broad right. Yeah, but I'll broad them a little bit. So yeah, they'll be like the fridge and I'll say, What color is it? And so I'll ask more questions about it. So you can do that with yourself if you want. But so I'll, you know, you look at five things and explain what they look like, and then close your eyes, and then it's four things that you can hear. And then three things that you can touch, three things that you can touch and kind of describe what they feel like, and then two things that you can smell, and which that's kind of fun when you're outside because you you never think about the smells.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And then you're just like the most prominent thing, right? There's so many layered smells outside. There's so many smells like fresh cut grass. Sometimes it just smells like fall. Oh like forests. Yeah. And even trying to describe that, it's hard to describe. But you know, but it's fun to describe it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and then one thing if you that you can taste, if you can taste anything. Um, and if you can't, just grab something and taste it, and then you know, describe what that tastes like. But it's a really, really good opportunity for mindfulness and for presence. So I'll do something like that. Then I'll journal. And so I have this guided self-concept journal that I use sometimes, and then other times I'll just do affirmations. And have we ever talked about the affirmations that I do? No. I'll I've been doing this for oh my gosh, since when? Maybe like 2018. But it's essentially just like fill in the blank prompts. And so the first one is I'm grateful for the second one is what I like about myself is. The third one is I'm looking forward to. The fourth one is today, I'm feeling blank, and that's okay. And you insert an emotion. And then the last one is today's intention.

SPEAKER_01

I love that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I love that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And so I I've been doing that for so long, and it's so easy. And you don't like and especially for people that don't like to journal, you literally can just write like one word or a sentence to all of these prompts. Yeah. And so it's just such a good way to start your morning and start it off on a good note.

SPEAKER_01

I love that. I love that you have like the sun on your face, spend the time outside, do you know the presence, the meditation, be there. Like you you're just kind of like taking your body like through a really gentle boot up. Yes. Like you're you're you're waking it up slowly. You're being really gentle on it. I love that. I also do my ice, I do my ice roll roller tick.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, it's a washaw. Uh it's the the best. And like I I can't even explain like exactly what it does, but I'm obsessed with it and it feels so good. And yeah, it's just, it's it, it is the the best thing ever. There's certain like I've tried doing the nervous system regulation where you like stick your face in an ice bath.

SPEAKER_01

Um and it actually the dive reflex kind of thing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but it it actually made me feel anxious right after, yeah, which was interesting, and then it gave me kind of like hives on my face. My body doesn't react well to cold. And so, so yeah, that one wasn't for me.

SPEAKER_01

But that if you're I can't stand it. No, we you know, I I like read something somewhere that like women we're just not built for cold the way that like yeah, that like you know, even like cold plunges and stuff like that, like there are benefits of them, but like the I believe it, but I don't want to do it. No, well, that's because like women don't benefit from them as much as men do. They're way better for men because men have more testosterone and we don't. Oh, that makes sense. Yeah, we're like, we're like, no, I don't want to go in the cold water, leave me alone. Yeah. Fuck off.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I hate it. I don't yeah, I don't want to do any good. Yeah, I don't want to do any cold plunges or cryotherapy or anything like that. I believe in it, so good for you.

SPEAKER_01

But definitely, like again, like men get the most benefit out of it more than women.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, you know, women, women get benefit, but it's nothing like what what men get because women don't we're we're just not meant to put ourselves through that kind of shit. We put ourselves through childbirth, it's fine.

SPEAKER_02

That's enough. That is easy. That is more than enough. We don't need we don't need to like feel a lion. Childbirth, also like getting your period every month. Like there, there's so many things that we put ourselves through. Yes. Taking birth control because men are too big of pussies to do it themselves. I wouldn't, even though there's male birth control available to them, and they just like couldn't do it, couldn't deal with like the mood swings and the weight gain and the things that happen with it. I made three men.

SPEAKER_01

Made is really like not I didn't make three men. I just not say that. Um I saw three men through vasectomies. Oh, yeah. Yes, yes, yes. I because I was like, look, if you want to do this with me, like I'm not, I'm not, I don't want to get pregnant and I can't take birth control. And like, if you want to have children someday, don't get it done. But if you don't want to have children someday, it might be a good idea because I'm not gonna take birth control and I'm not gonna have sex with you if you're gonna get me pregnant. So it's your choice. And more often than not, they were like, Oh yeah, no, I don't want kids. So Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Which is a good decision for them too.

SPEAKER_01

Based on the things that I've said about my exes, yeah, I'm really it's helping the greater good. You're doing God's work out here. I know with your vasectomies. Literally doing the best that I can.

SPEAKER_02

Um, yeah. I'm totally making Jake get one after we have our one kid. Just one? Mm-hmm. Just one. Yeah. And I and I'm Prince of the Universe. Yes. And I will not like, yeah. There are people that are like, oh, but it's like cutting off like their manhood and they're not gonna feel like a man. No, it's fine.

SPEAKER_01

It's fairly fine. They are literally fine.

SPEAKER_02

I've been poisoning myself for years. Like he'll be fine.

SPEAKER_01

Literally, fuck that. I put I put a foreign object in my uterus for 10 fucking years. Yeah, actually IUD for everybody that doesn't know what she's talking about. I put a remote control in there. Yeah, and that would be really it literally felt like I had one in there, honestly. Like my uterus was like, I hate it. Did you feel it? Girl, yes. Oh it was awful, it was terrible. But I I still, you know, out of any birth control available, that was my option. Um, and then when I was like one of the best ones, I'm never getting birth control ever again. Like, because I had endometriosis and I just like it was like I'm like not doing this. Um because the pain was just too much, and I can't do again hormonal. So I got it taken out, and then that was when I did my service of convincing men to get pastectomy. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Literally, literally God's work.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes, like if you're gonna keep if you're gonna keep like you know, using your dick on women who are of childbearing age, like stop doing it if you're not gonna have kids.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, 100%. And having kids should be incredibly intentional. Yes, and I hate how men are like, oh, maybe you'll, you know, I'm 40s, maybe I'll want them in like 20 years. Like, no, no, you're done.

SPEAKER_01

You're gonna adopt it. Yeah, it's gonna be 65 and your kids will be five years old, you selfish fucking asshole. Exactly. Why are they doing that? It's because they're selfish fucking ass. And because they don't they don't think about it. They don't think about it. I it's not people who behave that way don't think about it. No, they don't, they're so unconscious of it.

SPEAKER_02

They don't, and it's kind of gross to me that women can't have kids after a certain age, and men can. Why?

SPEAKER_01

What is that? Because I feel like it should be the same. We would never die then. I know. Like we didn't want to stay alive for all of our children forever. Yeah, just keep having children forever, and then like what we would probably die young, actually. Because childbirth is like not, it is not a non-trivial thing. Like, the biggest thing you've ever been told is that childbirth is just chill and it's whatever, and like you go to, you know, it is like violence. Who says that? Uh the way that it's marketed. It's oh yes, it's you know, they're like, have babies, have babies, whatever. Something like whatever the diameter companies, entire companies. Oh my god, the people who need human bodies to exist. Yes. Um of whom there are many. All of the women that I know are very honest about it, and they're like, that was fucked up.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. I'm curious what are some tangible rituals or activities that our girlies can do this fall to one, really get in the fall spirit and two alchemize and become the highest highest versions of themselves.

SPEAKER_01

I love when I used to have lighter hair or like when I used to have like more brown hair, I would always go darker for winter, darker for fall, and lighter for springtime. So I feel like, you know, especially because like you go through the whole hair washing experience and everything like that. And, you know, you could definitely use showers to jump into a higher timeline as, you know, like an anchor point where you're like, okay, when I step out of this shower, I'm gonna be my highest, hottest self. And then you, you know, move your intention forward that way.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, it's so ritualistic.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's very, yeah, it can be very spiritual. Yes, every time you get your hair done, it's like literally somebody's hands made by God. It's so I feel like getting your hair done is a great thing because there's so much ritual involved in it. I feel like every time you do your other hot girl stuff, like when you um do your routine for the day, your skincare, whatever, like just say that you're letting go of something. Like I I let go of, you know, that which holds me in my lower timeline and I step into my higher timeline kind of thing. Like I feel like any opportunity you have where you can just say, I'm gonna utilize this, I'm gonna alchemize this to step into, you know, letting go of something else. That is like the best way to ritualize fall time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's so much fun. Yeah. Yeah. What about you? What do you feel like you would want to do? Vision board. A good vision. Oh, yeah, we already did our vision boards. We did. I have mine in my office and it's like I stare at it every day, and I'm just like, it's telling me something, and I'm not sure what it is, but I I feel like something's coming true from it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's good stuff, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. I I love that. Yeah, that, yeah. I think that vision boarding is such a good fall activity. Yeah, it's it's also something that you can do with your friends.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

I'm big on like during the fall, like craft vision board, like skip the bars, you know, like like there's so much time for the bar scene. A lot of people just don't like the bar scene either. And so skip the bars and just like craft with your friends, vision board with your friends. I love it. Get cozy and watch like horror movies or Halloween movies with your friends, bake cookies, you know, like it's a great time for community, and there are so many excuses to get together in the fall. But yeah, vision boarding is such a good one. And like a lot of people will Pinterest Vision Board. I think that there's so much to be said about having like the actual poster board, cutting things out of magazines and post like pasting it. You feel so artistic and just like so creative. Yeah, it's just it's so much fun.

SPEAKER_01

I love like I had never done vision boards before I met you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like I was, it was my very first experience, and I was like, wait, this is actually really fun. I like letting whatever is going on the vision board come to me. So like I will just look through everything.

SPEAKER_02

You were very like intuitive with it. And like I remember when you were cutting things out, and I was just like, Oh, why are you cutting that out? You're like, I don't know. So I love that. You just you just like followed your gut and whatever spoke to you or resonated with you, you didn't question it and just cut it out and pasted it. I think that that's actually a great way to vision board.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, I mean, I feel like it's it's it definitely showcases. I feel like it's my inner psyche like coming out. Like something in my subconscious is like, I like that. I like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Like that, that's kind of weird. I like that. That's weird, that's cool that you know, whatever. Um, and so I love like the opportunity to put whatever is coming to me onto the vision board and then say, okay, this is whatever my next, you know, three months, my next six months, my next whatever. So I've I've really enjoyed doing the vision boarding.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yes. I love that. I love that. Um yeah, I I think that it's such a cool thing to do. Again, and you can do it with your girlies. Yes. It's such a good, a good time for community.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And a lot of times we tend to like hibernate and go a little bit recluse in the winter.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So this is a good time to not do that, like, you know, like go do the fun things, like go to a pumpkin patch with your girlies, yeah. Get your doses of community in. Also, such a good time to romanticize your life.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Which we've talked about a lot, but I feel like the fall is such a good time for that because it's so vibey. Yeah. Like light all of the candles.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

You know, decorate your house, like fe really get into it, watch, watch all of the cozy fall movies and shows, fall recipes. I love doing that. Oh my God, I love a hearty soup. Yes. Yeah, I live for a hearty soup. I actually made one right before I came here. And we're gonna eat it when we get back because I'm not gonna have time to do it all. It's actually called the uh Nona's Italian penicillin soup, and it's a big thing on Instagram right now.

SPEAKER_04

I love it.

SPEAKER_02

And I just saw it, and my Italian people never made it, uh, as far as I know. My mom's gonna be listening to this. She's like, yes, I did make it. Okay. Uh her revision is history, mom. But I made it and it's really, really good. I I tasted it, so I'm excited. Um, yeah, love a good soup, anything. I love making pumpkin seeds. I made butternut squash fries the other day, but I hated them. Jake loved them. Um, they tasted a little bit like sweet potato fries, and I just I didn't like that. Yeah, but everybody else would love them. So you guys should make them just air fry. Just literally air fry butternut squash and you make it air.

SPEAKER_01

Air fryer. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They're not they're not very expensive.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, no. I just I don't really uh I don't really cook that much. Yeah. Yeah, because I live alone and it's not as fun. Um, but that's okay. But I do love to make a good soup for sure. Yes, yes, like I love a good like easy soup soup.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yeah. Yeah, um, yeah, soups are really easy. Chili's actually pretty easy to chili. Yeah, chili. I love chili too.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_02

It's all very fall, yeah. Yeah, like it's just it's such a good time to romanticize your life. Also tapping into your spirituality. So, whatever that is. So if that means for you having a grimoire or a prayer book or like a witch altar, any type of like spiritual readings, it's a really good time for that. Any type of like spiritual community, so church, a coven, a synagogue, I'm like gonna now get in trouble for like leaving things in. But um, you know, like any any type of spiritual community, yeah. Even if it's not necessarily religion and like a known religion, like any anything like that. And so I'm curious, is there anything spiritual that you want to do this fall or get into or learn about?

SPEAKER_01

Um, so I feel like my spiritual journey just began like in this last year, like something about the way that I so I I had PTSD for most of 2025, and something during that healing process like switched on the spirituality in me. And I had never before in my life experienced that before. So I feel like I'm still like a baby when it comes to spirituality, and I'm just like still taking in everything there is to take in about reality and like what I witness and what I feel and what I observe and what I notice and so on and so forth. So really I'm just trying to like learn at this point still. Yeah. Um, but I feel like when it comes to the spiritual things that I want to do, especially for fall, I really I do kind of want to go through my closet and do that exact thing that I was talking about earlier, where I just like kind of let go of a bunch of old clothes because I do I have kind of a backlog of stuff where I'm just like I look at it and I'm like, eh, I don't think I'm gonna do that, and just kind of let it be something that you know is um spiritually enriching. Um and then I don't know, I've I bought some crystals. Yeah, I bought some crystals and they're they're that's always what I want. But I'm like, I have enough crystals, but I want to buy more. They're like so pretty. I love it. They're so pretty. Yeah, like they're really they're great anchors during meditation. I feel like I spend so much fucking time meditating, like so much time, and like I'll just I'll go. I like meditating um throughout like outside and watching the seasons change. So like just seeing, you know, how it like you you just kind of, I don't know, can see them. The shift, yeah. It's really you can just feel the energy shift. It's very, very interesting. Um I love that. Yeah, I love it. That's my favorite thing. I fucking love meditating. Yeah. Best thing ever. Yeah. Um, yeah, it brings me like so much calm and peace.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And meditating outside, God's your whole, you know, meditate wherever you can. Yes. But meditating outside is just so, so special. Yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There's nothing like it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. I actually, I think I did it last fall, but I meditated outside during the fall, and then I uh this is it's gonna sound super corny, but I went and like actually like turned over a leaf because you're like turning over a new leash.

SPEAKER_03

I love so I did that physically. Wait, that's amazing. And then it's fun. But of course I was like, I need to pick the right relief. None of the leaves are good enough. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

That's so good. Um, I literally was I like earlier today was just like on my little bench outside and you know, doing my little meditation and like just kind of rocking side to side. And a butterfly came by and I was like, wait, isn't it supposed to be fall? I love butterflies.

SPEAKER_02

I do I've been seeing a lot of butterflies. Like me too. I've also been seeing a lot of that. I've been seeing a lot of marnarchs too, which you know are an endangered species. Yes, yes. One thing that I'll say is in terms of any type of transformation, like, really think about the person that you want to be. The person that you want to emerge to, maybe in like the spring. Yeah, you know, and who is that person? And it's a really good time for manifestation. So I love like a good journaling activity, journaling about the thing or all the things that you want to leave behind, all of the things that you want to shed, all of the leaves that you want to shed, and then manifesting what you want to be in the spring and who you want to be in the spring. And I don't know if we've talked about this before in the podcast, but a big practice with manifesting, instead of saying I want, I wish for, you say I am, and writing it down can be very helpful. So you're like, you know, I and honestly making it specific is instead of broad is very helpful. So I am making money from my creative endeavors. I am prioritizing all of my healthy relationships.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I like these.

SPEAKER_02

You know.

SPEAKER_01

So instead of instead of like I my my understanding is that when you say I want, you're operating from a place of lack. And, you know, to say I want means in order to be in a state of wanting something, you must not have it. So by saying I want, you affirm that you don't have it. Whereas if you want to manifest it into reality, you say, like, I actually actively have this, or I am open to the idea of receiving this, however it may come. And that seems to be the best way to like get manifestation to actually happen.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, completely agree. Yeah. And this is just such a good time to manifest. So like do that, journal everything. Also, be spooky. Yes. Be spooky. Yes, you can be spooky any time of year, technically, but like this is just there's just something about being spooky in the fall. And some people don't give themselves permission to be spooky all year. So like take advantage of this, read all of the spooky books, watch all the spooky movies and shows. I recently read a book called The Witch by Frieda McFadden, and that was fun. I love getting into like Salem witch trial things in the fall. We actually went to Salem last fall.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And we I literally like knew more about the Salem witch trials than anybody giving that to her because I was just like so into it. So yeah, like get into all your spooky things, any spooky shows, American horror story. They just came out with a new season of that. Um, anything Ryan Murphy, anything that he has directed or written, uh he is like my favorite writer of all time for TV. I also just started The Shards, which he also wrote and I think has directed some episodes. So yeah, anything spooky.

SPEAKER_01

So today we talked about Hot Girl Fall, what it is, like what you let go of, what the death and rebirth of it are, um, how to use fall to your advantage, and how to make the most of your hot girl fall, how to like transform and become your highest, hottest self as we descend into autumn and make our way back out. Um, what do you feel like is your biggest takeaway?

SPEAKER_02

My biggest takeaway both talked about was go to therapy. Yes. Go to therapy because it's such a good time for transformation. It's such a good time to shed the things that you no longer wish to carry. Absolutely. And therapy is the best way to do that. It's also such a good time for shadow work. It's such a good time to explore anything spiritual or existential, and therapy very much can help you do that. And so, yeah, definitely do that and get an actual therapist. Um, don't go on um like better help or any of those things. Get get a get a real therapist that you vibe with and uh go from there.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. I love that. What about you? I feel like my biggest takeaway is again just letting go of control and like being present and let like reminding myself that letting go is the best course of action always. Um, you know, detachment uh and fall is the most beautiful time to embrace detachment. Yes, yes. Okay, well, tune in with us next time, girlies. We are gonna cover uh some of the things that you may be wanting to let go, such as feminine anger and just kind of why women are so fucking tired. Rage. What did you say? Rage. I was like, what did she say?

SPEAKER_00

Clearly, I have a lot of it.

SPEAKER_01

That's okay. It's gonna be fun to talk about.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we'll process it. Yeah, we could um like go to a rage room, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Just like, you know, let that be kind of like the intro content. Yeah, I think so down, so down for that. That sounds fun as fuck. Um, go get a tarot reading, go get a rage room. We've got a lot of things we gotta do. Hot girl fall is in full fucking speed. Yes, yes. So join us next time as we talk about all the things that women are fucking tired of. Um, and you will be very familiar with them, of course. But we will see you next time.

SPEAKER_00

Love you, girlies. Bye. Bye.
